Job summary

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Rushden, part of Grandir UK Limited, is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Apprentice to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Join a supportive team with flexible working and genuine progression opportunities, and train toward your Early Years qualification in a hands-on environment. A training salary of £8.00–£8.40 per hour accompanies this role.

Qualifications

• Identify and meet each child’s individual needs.
• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Follow safeguarding procedures.
• Pursue Early Years qualification with support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet the children’s individual needs.
• Supervise and support the children at all times.
• Carry out interactive tasks such as reading stories, helping at mealtimes, playing games, and changing nappies.
• Act as a positive, practical role model for the children.
• Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff and parents.
• Ensure you understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures.
• Work towards gaining your Early Years qualification with hands-on experience.
