Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking an Early Years Apprentice for Kiddi Caru Wellingborough in Northampton. The role offers a training salary of £8.00–£8.40 per hour and a pathway to formal Early Years qualifications.

You will care for and support children, helping them thrive and develop, while benefiting from flexible working and career progression. The apprentice will supervise children, engage in reading and play activities, and work with staff and parents to ensure safeguarding and high-quality

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in a nursery setting or willingness to pursue one.
• Desire to work with and support young children.
• Ability to follow safeguarding procedures and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet each child’s individual needs.
• Supervise and support children at all times.
• Carry out interactive tasks – reading stories, assisting at mealtimes, playing games, changing nappies.
• Act as a positive role model.
• Develop friendly, professional relationships with staff and parents.
• Understand and follow Safeguarding Procedures.
• Work towards earning the Early Years qualification in a supportive environment.
