Job summary

Elmscot Group is offering an opportunity to complete a national apprenticeship as an Early Years Educator (level 3) across our nursery network. You will receive regular training and an in-house mentor to support your course and help young children learn and stay healthy and safe.

Working at our Hale Barns area, you’ll care for children, plan activities, observe development and collaborate with parents, with routes to a practitioner position on completion subject to status.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths minimum grade 4.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer care skills.
• Ability to plan activities and support learning.
• Team player with patience and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Care for children's individual needs and routines.
• Support learning and development through planned activities.
• Observe development in line with EYFS.
• Maintain consistent daily routines indoors and outdoors.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure high levels of care.
• Report to senior staff for guidance.
