Job summary

Chester Day Nursery offers a Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship with a supportive team and an in-house mentor to guide you through your course.

The programme runs for 1 year 6 months with a 32-hour week on site and 8 hours of training, Monday to Friday. Successful completion could lead to a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Teacher role.

We are offering the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship at Chester Day Nursery. We pride ourselves in being a happy and welcoming nursery that offers additional training to members of the team and an in-house mentor to support you through your training.

About the Employer

Elmscot Day Nursery and Nursery School Chester was acquired by the Elmscot Group in July 2018 and was formerly known as Little Friends Day Nursery and Learning Centre.

What You'll Do

The role of the apprentice will include:

• Ensuring you care for the children's individual needs and care routines
• You will be working alongside an experienced and qualified team that will support you through your apprenticeship, plus an inhouse mentor to guide you through your course
• You will be required to support the children's learning and development through fun activities that you plan
• Supports children to develop numeracy and language skills through games and play

Training Outcome

Following successful of the apprenticeship, you could pursue a full-time career as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Teacher.
