Bright Little Stars in Barnet is offering an Early Years Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship. You will support staff in a safe, caring environment and assist with planning, activities, and daily routines for young children at EN5 5EB.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, teamwork, and learning on the job, with options for 30 or 40 hours weekly and progression from Level 2 to higher responsibilities within the setting.

Responsibilities

• Support staff in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
• Assist with planning and setting up learning and play activities.
• Engage with children through play to support learning and development.
• Help with daily routines such as snack times, meals and tidy-up time.
• Support children with personal care where appropriate (e.g. hand washing, toileting with supervision).
• Observe children and report progress or concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised learning environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
