Job summary

Kido Windsor Nursery & Preschool in Windsor is seeking an Early Years Apprentice. You will work full-time in a thriving setting, gaining hands-on experience while pursuing an early years qualification.

The role focuses on safeguarding, play-based learning, and strong nursery routines under supervision. The Level 3 apprenticeship offers progression to Level 2, with salary uplifts on qualification and a supportive development path.

Qualifications

• The Level 3 course takes approximately 2 years to complete, with Level 2 sign-off when ready.
• Level 3 apprenticeship requires passion for Early Years and childcare, plus willingness to learn.
• Must have right to work in the UK and UK residency for past 3 years or more.
• Maths and English GCSE are desirable; if not present, Level 2 Functional Skills will be required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your apprenticeship journey by engaging in training and applying new skills.
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy and inspired to learn.
• Support children's learning through EYFS-aligned activities and Kido curriculum.
• Build relationships with children, acting as a nurturing key person daily.
• Work with parents to share progress and celebrate milestones.
