Job summary

Kido Chiswick Nursery & Preschool in London is seeking an Apprentice in Early Years. You will gain hands-on experience while working toward an early years qualification. The role includes a salary of £18,200 per year for full-time work, with progression to higher pay as you qualify.

Full training and development are provided within a supportive team. The Level 3 pathway offers progression to Level 2 sign-off, DBS checks, and Safeguarding support, plus extensive benefits and a chance to grow

Qualifications

• Level 3 apprentice role requires no existing qualifications but passion for Early Years and childcare, and a willingness to learn.
• Some experience with children, ideally in a nursery setting, is preferable.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and have UK residency for the past 3 years or more.
• GCSE Maths and English desirable; if not, Level 2 Maths/English Functional Skills required.

• Safer Recruitment: unspent convictions disclosure and enhanced DBS checks will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your apprenticeship journey through training and feedback.
• Create a warm, safe environment where children feel happy and supported.
• Support children’s learning and development through EYFS and Kido curriculum.
• Build relationships with children and carers, sharing progress and moments.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing standards.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver childcare, nursery events and learning experiences.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to grow in the role.
