Job summary

Family Adventures Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Early Years Apprentice to join our nursery team. This apprenticeship offers practical experience and a recognised childcare qualification while working with children aged 0–5.

You will work in the room team under the supervision of the Room Manager and senior staff, supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
• Basic GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent.
• Interest in safeguarding and childcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care, play and learning experiences.
• Support planning and delivery of EYFS activities.
• Prepare learning environments and resources for daily routines.
• Observe children and contribute to assessments under supervision.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support personal care routines and mealtimes.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Work with the nursery team and participate in supervision.
• Take part in apprenticeship training and on-the-job mentoring.
