Job summary

Little Adventures Nursery Group is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our caring nursery team. The role offers practical experience and a recognised childcare qualification while working with children aged 0–5, under supervision of senior staff.

You will contribute to daily routines, learn through on-the-job mentoring, and participate in apprenticeship training. The position is a fixed-term apprenticeship with standard hours and an apprenticeship wage in line with UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for working with young children and families.
• Willingness to learn and take on new skills.
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care, play and learning experiences for children 0–5.
• Support planning and delivery of EYFS-aligned activities.
• Help prepare learning environments, resources and routines.
• Observe children and contribute to assessments and next steps with guidance.
