Job summary

Nellys Nursery in Stafford invites applications for an Apprentice Early Years Practitioner. You will help care for and support children aged 0–5 in a safe, friendly setting while working toward your Early Years qualification.

You will learn through hands-on tasks, support learning through play, help with safety and safeguarding, build relationships with parents, complete all apprenticeship training through Realise, and progress toward a Level 3 on successful completion.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Functional Skills if required.
• Creative and fun.
• Can build relationships with children and be professional with parents and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Help look after children and support their learning through play.
• Make sure children are safe, happy, and included.
• Support activities indoors and outdoors.
• Follow nursery rules, especially around safety and safeguarding.
• Work as part of a team and take guidance from senior staff.
• Help build good relationships with parents/carers.
• Keep basic records such as attendance and accidents.
• Complete all parts of your apprenticeship (training and coursework).
