Job summary

Barney Lodge Nursery School in Warminster, part of Storal Learning, is seeking an apprentice nursery assistant to support our indoor-outdoor learning approach and care for children.

You will help implement the Storal curriculum, engage in everyday routines, and build meaningful relationships with children and their families while developing essential early-years skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or over and have a passion for children.
• English and Maths GCSE grade 2/E or above or Functional Skills Level 1+.
• Able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• Able to be patient and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy to daily activities.
• Seek learning opportunities in routines such as meals and transitions.
• Bond with children and their families through meaningful moments.

About the role:

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
• Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment

Essentials:

• Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
• Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
• are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
• are patient and friendly
