Job summary

Forest Barn Nursery School, part of Storal, invites applications for an Apprentice Early Years Educator role at The Barn at Tooks Farm, Great Warley, Essex. You will help keep children safe, loved and inspired to learn within the Storal curriculum.

We welcome 16+ applicants with English and Maths GCSEs (or Functional Skills) and a commitment to a full apprenticeship. Benefits include enhanced holidays, paid sick pay, wellness day off, childcare discounts and training funding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 16 or older and passion for children.
  • GCSE English and Maths grades 2 or E or above (or Functional Skills Level 1 or above).
  • Commit to a full apprenticeship programme.

  • Consent to share information with the employer for grade confirmation; certificates may be required if not confirmed.
  • Maximum 40 minute drive by car or public transport.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours
Salary: £8 per hour

About the role:

As an Apprentice Early Years Educator you will be a key part of keep our children safe, loved and inspired to learn. Key activities include:

  • Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
  • Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions
  • Bond with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moment
Essentials:
  • Are 16 or over, have a passion for children and an aptitude for learning
  • Minimum requirements to apply for this role are English and Maths GCSE grades 2 or E or above OR Functional Skills Level 1 or above.
  • are able to commit to a full apprenticeship programme.
  • are patient and friendly
