Job summary

THX Ltd in Bedford is looking for a Customer Delivery Operative – HGV Class 2 to deliver hire equipment to customers and provide a positive, high-quality service. In this role you will aim for 98% on-time deliveries and load/unload using lifting gear while following safety practices.

When needed, you may support Warehouse or Workshop teams, with start times between 5:00am and 7:30am, Monday to Friday. There are opportunities to interact with other departments, update delivery IT systems, and

Qualifications

Experience in providing excellent customer service within a delivery or field role.
A valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC.
Experience in driving and delivering goods to customers.
Familiarity with IT systems and navigation tools.
An IPAF licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Deliver hire equipment to customers on time and with a positive, friendly attitude.
Strive to meet 98% on-time delivery targets.
Resolve issues promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues.
Load and unload hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling.
Follow safe working practices while driving and loading/unloading.
