Job summary
Unique Senior Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes with flexible hours, up to 30 per week, centred around 09:30–14:00 and including travel between visits. Benefits include mileage reimbursement and weekend/bank holiday rate enhancements.

Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence, access to a car, and business insurance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A caring, compassionate and reliable nature.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Previous experience in care work is desirable but not essential – full training provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing).
- Administer medications safely as per guidance.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage wellbeing.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs.
- Support with mobility assistance (e.g. transfers to chairs/wheelchairs).
- Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.
- Keep accurate care records and daily observations.
