We have created an exciting new specialist role in the School Nursing Service in Gloucestershire, providing an opportunity to develop partnership working to ensure children receive early help and support to thrive and develop. The role will evolve based on the health needs of targeted populations, starting with helping children become ready for school. Using strong leadership skills, the post holder will build robust relationships with partners, develop new pathways and interventions, and demonstrate impact and outcomes for children and families.
The post is based in Tewkesbury, with specialist work developed alongside a caseload from the Tewkesbury School Nurse team. It is expected that the role will be a 40:60 split between specialist responsibilities and clinical caseload work.
