We are looking for caring, compassionate, and hardworking nurses to work in our out-of-hours community nursing service.

We provide community nursing services to patients requiring unplanned care in the evenings and overnight, co-located with the Integrated Urgent Care Service (out-of-hours GP) and the Rapid Response team.

The evening and overnight district nursing team supports patient flow through timely responses from 7pm until 8am.

We foster a positive and inclusive culture, supporting one another with guidance and mentorship for new starters. We offer a supportive induction and are committed to professional development.

Main duties of the job

Work twilight shifts (7pm-1am) across 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays. Our flexible working policy allows us to meet the needs of the service.

We support mobile working with laptops and smartphones, enabling real-time documentation and immediate patient focus.

We offer a multi-professional preceptorship programme aligned to the NHS National Preceptorship Framework, awarded the NHS England interim quality mark. All preceptees can enroll in a Level 7 (Masters) module on Preceptorship for Healthcare.
