Job summary

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working with children aged 11-16.
  • Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective support plans.
  • Understanding of Working Together 2014, MSCB Safeguarding Procedures, Domestic Abuse awareness, Children Act 2004, Children and Families Act 2014.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a car is essential.
  • NVQ Level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care or related subject.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with pupils to support engagement.
  • Provide support and advice to pupils and families to connect with local and national services.
  • Develop plans addressing individual needs to reduce vulnerability to risk.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to support vulnerable residents of Manchester.
  • Maintain records to support data collection and performance management.
  • Uphold safeguarding and confidentiality as required.
