Job summary

Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA) is seeking an Early Help Practitioner to support pupils and families to access services and to promote engagement with learning and well-being. The role requires experience with 11-16-year-olds, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to work with families to plan and address needs.

The post is full-time, fixed-term for two years, term-time plus one week, 35 hours per week, starting on pre-employment checks. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 11-16
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop effective support plans
• Knowledge of Working Together 2014 and safeguarding procedures
• Full UK driving licence with access to car

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with pupils to assess needs and promote positive outcomes.
• Provide support and advice to pupils to engage with local and national services.
• Develop and implement plans based on individual needs to reduce vulnerability to risk.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to support independence for vulnerable pupils and families.
• Maintain up-to-date records to aid data collection and performance management.
