Academics Ltd is seeking dedicated Level 3 Early Childhood Educators to join our team across partner nurseries and mainstream primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. The role is flexible and temporary, ideal for those seeking varied experience, work-life balance, or returning to work on a part-time basis.

You will deliver engaging EYFS lessons, provide high standards of care, support literacy and numeracy, and encourage independence and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2 in the minimum required.
• Previous experience with young children in nursery or primary school (UK) evidenced via references.
• Must be happy to travel to partnership nurseries and primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent by 8.30am with short notice for on-the-day requirements.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to work towards).

Academics are currently looking for dedicated Level 3 Early Childhood Educators to join our team. You will work across our partnership nurseries and mainstream primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.

This flexible and temporary role is ideal for Early Childhood Educators who are seeking varied experience in a variety of schools, a work-life balance, or those returning to the workforce on a full or part time basis.

Responsibilities of a Early Childhood Educator:

• Work alongside teachers and fellow practitioners to deliver engaging EYFS appropriate lessons and activities.


• Provide high standards of care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.


• Supporting children's early literacy, numeracy, communication, and personal development.


• To encourage independence, positive behaviour, and social interaction.


• To be familiar and confident in delivering of the EYFS curriculum.

For this role, candidates who apply must have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).


• A good level of literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE English and Maths Grade 4 or Grade C and above/Functional Skills Level 2 in the minimum required).


• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or primary school setting (in the UK) and this is evidenced through referencing.


• Be happy to travel and to be able to get to our partnership nurseries and primary schools in Stoke-on-Trent by 8.30am with sometimes only 30-60 minute's notice for our on the day requirements.


• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.


• Paediatric First Aid (or to be willing to work towards).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, training, and the client rate that is currently available
