Join the Close Brothers Motor Finance Team as an Account Manager, where you will sell Motor Finance related products across the East Midlands region. You will be expected to grow the dealer base and acquire new motor dealers through a high level of sales skills, while maintaining and developing existing relationships to their maximum potential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop a sales strategy for the territory to achieve sales targets.
  2. Ensure dealer relationships perform to margin quality and efficiency targets.
  3. Achieve sales targets by product type within Cars, LCV, & Motorcycles dealers according to KPIs.
  4. Lead business development of significant accounts across all products.
  5. Manage relationships to ensure retention and growth of existing accounts.
  6. Recruit new dealers that fit the purpose and scope required by CBMF.
  7. Identify market opportunities to develop our lending proposition and act as an expert in this area.
  8. Support internal collection operations.
  9. Contribute to funding strategy and the acquisition of new funded dealers.
  10. Develop market intelligence to inform product, promotion, and pricing decisions.
  11. Assess, identify, and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations such as FCA, Money Laundering, and Data Protection.
  12. Develop strong CBMF/dealer relationships to ensure beneficial business partnerships.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proven account management experience in a specific geographic territory, ideally within the Motor Finance or wider Motor industry.
  • Structured sales process experience.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
