Our Fulfilment Centres are central to Amazon’s rapidly expanding business: they manage our fast-moving inventory. Our teams stow deliveries, pick products, package them, and ship out orders—each playing a vital role in our success.

In this crucial health and safety position, you’ll report to the WHS Manager in a shift-based role.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Provide high visibility presence within the Fulfilment Centre to drive engagement and build relationships with associates and managers at all levels.
  2. Attend site meetings such as daily deep dive, flow meetings, etc., as needed.
  3. Complete duties such as observations, inspections, and audits to promote injury prevention and training compliance; participate in management audits to build trust and support.
  4. Assist in First Aid and incident investigations, providing technical advice and support to ensure duty of care, identify causal factors, and drive corrective actions.
  5. Maintain oversight of action tracking and compliance systems, hold action owners accountable, and coach to improve performance.
  6. Monitor compliance with regulatory, legislative, and internal standards (HASAWA, MHSAW, RIDDOR), and report as necessary.
  7. Complete daily standard work as determined by the WHS Manager and communicate progress.
  8. Collaborate with the operations team to review risk assessments, ensuring safety measures are effectively deployed.
  9. Implement Amazon WHS procedures, providing technical advice and support to leadership.
  10. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in safety investigations.
  11. Support coaching, training, and briefing to operational teams to ensure compliance and promote safe behaviors.
