Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, Help Points, and CIS screens
  • Performing planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning, with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
