WORK LOCATION: This is a remote, home-based role. Permanently working from any location in the UK.

Role Summary

We're seeking Investigators to evaluate transactions, safeguard Amazon's global customer base, profitability, and brand, while maintaining a high standard of customer experience. Investigators will handle a wide range of duties related to online e-commerce risk investigation and mitigation.

Work Schedule

The team works in shifts, including weekends, to support Amazon's 7-day operation. Please note, shift details are confirmed post-training, requiring flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investigate suspicious buyer activity and behavior that could pose risks to Amazon, customers, or merchants.
2. Communicate via email and telephone with buyers, merchants, and internal/external stakeholders to assess risk.
3. Enforce Amazon's Policy Guidelines to maintain site quality.
4. Identify and help minimize risks from fraud patterns and trends, escalating issues when procedures are unavailable.
5. Participate in special projects and collaborate with relevant teams.
6. Achieve or exceed weekly productivity and quality standards.

About the Team

The Customer Trust and Partner Support (CTPS) team aims to make Amazon the safest online marketplace. CTPS safeguards financial transactions across Amazon sites, designing systems, risk models, and processes to minimize risk and build trust.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environments.
• Knowledge or experience in fraud/risk management.
• Background in insurance, finance, data analysis, research, translation, or training.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Self-disciplined, proactive, detail-oriented.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
