Role: Business Analyst
Location: Glasgow
Work Mode: Hybrid (twice a week from office)
Mandatory Skills: Business analyst profile with experience in Real estate lending, mortgages, quantitative and statistical analysis, data management, SQL, monitoring and valuation, working with in-house project managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely and efficient completion of project tasks.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for developers and stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify misalignments between current processes and business goals.
- Analyze data to identify trends and insights, presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Assist in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards.
- Provide post-implementation support and training for end-users.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend process improvements.
Secondary Skills: Credit risk expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and multi-project management skills.
