Introduction:

Cedars High Heworth, part of Cedars Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Site Manager to begin in Summer 2025.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining clean, safe, and secure school premises, including buildings and grounds.
2. Carrying out handyperson activities, routine maintenance, refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs.
3. Promoting health and safety around the school.
4. Supervising external contractors and managing site use.
5. Carrying out and recording regular health and safety checks, including legionella risk, play equipment, and safety equipment.
6. Completing all required statutory paperwork.
7. Applying for an enhanced Disclosure if successful.
8. Declaring compliance under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2009.
