Location: St Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School, Chester-Le-Street, Durham, DH3 3PH

Grade: Grade D SCP 5 – 7 (£24,790 - £25,584 per annum, pro rata for part time hours)

Hours: 20 Hours per week, Permanent



Hours are to be agree within the hours below:

5:30am – 9:30 am (Monday – Friday)

We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Caretaker. The successful candidate will maintain our school site and provide a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.



Duties include:

• General caretaking and cleaning duties as directed by the School Business Manager.


• Repairs and maintenance of all school buildings and premises, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.


• Ensuring the safety and security of the school site(s).


• Ensuring that the school grounds are maintained to the highest standards.
