Job Description:

Equans is a renowned energies & services contractor and a proud member of the Bouygues global industrial group. Our expertise spans the design, construction, and maintenance of buildings and critical infrastructure worldwide.

We have a great opportunity for a High Voltage Delivery Manager responsible for the successful delivery of design, construction, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of large-scale Solar PV, Solar Canopies, Battery Storage, Electric Vehicle Charging Points, and Hydrogen projects.

The role focuses on High Voltage components and associated processes, adhering to client contract specifications, company procedures, and safe systems of work.

Key Activities:

1. Support the HV Engineering Manager in delivering High Voltage grid connections for all new projects according to client, DNO/iDNO, and company standards.
2. Manage the delivery of assigned projects from late design through construction, commissioning, energisation, and generation to project completion.
3. Assist in initial design specifications for procurement of equipment, including full High Voltage Substation design and Inverter HV and LV components.
4. Manage relationships with Clients, ICPs, and Contractors, ensuring clear communication of information and schedules.
5. Oversee Power Generating Module Documentation to achieve G99/G compliance and DNO approval, working with ICPs and contractors to review reports and submit documentation in line with project timelines.
6. Achieve High Voltage Authorized Person status under BYES Electrical Safety Rules and perform Senior Authorized Person duties during construction and commissioning.
7. Provide leadership and support to all Authorized Persons (Electrical) for safe work practices.
8. Collaborate with Project Managers, reporting on project progress in daily meetings.
9. Mentor and train prospective Authorized Persons (Electrical), developing HV procedures and identifying training needs.
10. Hold existing SAP Authorization at 33kV on renewable energy projects.
11. Possess Electrical Engineering qualification to HNC level or equivalent experience.
12. Have project delivery experience on MW-scale generation projects.
