Job description

We have an opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to join our Claims department at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting to the Head of Property Binders, you will help develop our market-leading Property Binder claims service, contributing to attracting and retaining profitable business.

The role includes:

1. Delivering a first-class service to all customers, personally and through the team.
2. Managing claims from the delegated portfolio, including those beyond personal authority, either personally or with experienced colleagues.
3. Owning nominated client relationships to ensure effective Claims services supporting business objectives.
4. Managing Coverholder and TPA accounts.
5. Liaising with Underwriters to keep them informed on claims issues.
6. Ensuring fair customer outcomes and commercial decision-making aligned with TMK values.
7. Understanding the company's risk appetites regarding delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime.

Ideal candidates will have a background in general insurance, relevant business classes and territories, with in-depth knowledge of the London market, especially North American Binding Authorities. Knowledge of Binding Authority operations and relationships is beneficial. We seek team players with analytical thinking and adaptability.
