In this challenging role, you will directly report to a Production/Business Unit Manager, therefore, we require someone with strong leadership, analytical, teamwork, and influencing capabilities.

As a Production Team Leader at Brett Martin, you will work:

• 12-hour continental shifts (rotating days and nights) including weekends
• Average of 40.25 hours per week
• 7 out of every 14 days / nights

About The Role

As a Team Leader, your role will involve:

Main tasks and duties

Supervision

• Responsible for supervising all employees under your control at any time;
• Manage daily operations within the department according to instructions from the Department Manager, utilizing available employees to ensure efficient use of staff, machinery, and materials.

Production

• Plan, organize, monitor, and control all aspects of production efficiently;
• Coordinate daily production activities, including duties allocation, material supplies, product removal, breaks, overtime, and team support;
• Establish priorities to meet deadlines, organize supplies, and lead in training, safety, quality, and performance evaluations;
• Oversee daily production to meet targets and schedules;
• Ensure products meet quality standards through effective quality control and adherence to procedures;
• Identify and resolve production issues collaboratively;
• Maintain accurate records and reports as per policies and regulations;
• Work flexible hours and shifts as needed to meet production demands.
