SDO Associates, based in Swindon, is seeking a business development manager to support the CEO in driving growth and expanding market presence. The role involves client relationship management, market research, and executing sales strategies to enhance service delivery. This position offers the opportunity for career progression within a dynamic team focused on the Defence, Aerospace, and Space sectors.
Based in Swindon, SDO Associates work with micro and SME size engineering and technology-based clients to assist them in growing their business within our key target sectors. We do this in a range of ways, dependant on where their business is in its development. We conduct commercial strategy reviews, market and competitor assessments, USP and value proposition analysis, sales planning and setting of KPIs, as well as traditional business development activities including lead generation, networking introductions, targeted sales campaigns and exhibition planning/support. We have a range of independent associates and specialist service provision partners that we call upon to support our work, with decades of experience between them.
We work in the Defence, Aerospace and Space domains. Our client list is growing, thus we are looking for the right candidate to support the delivery of our services, as well as the onboarding of new clients.
We have an exciting opportunity for a business development manager to join our company. This role will directly report into and support our CEO in helping to drive business growth for our clients and expand our market presence. The role will be crucial in helping our CEO execute strategic initiatives and offers an opportunity for the successful candidate to play a vital part in the growth of SDO Associates, as well as career progression within the company.
In this role, you will conduct market, technology, competitor, and customer research as well as executing sales strategies to drive top-line growth for our clients. You will attract new clients and foster lasting relationships with current clients and our key partners. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to add value to our clients by identifying, growing, and maintaining new business relationships, services, and opportunities.
