As a Sales Manager in Metalwork Fabrication, you will join an established firm specializing in supplying sub-contract Laser Cutting, CNC Forming/Bending, Welding, and Fabrication to various industry sectors. The company has an excellent reputation for quality and operates from a modern, well-equipped manufacturing facility.

Overview of Job Role:

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will manage existing business accounts, develop new accounts, and handle customer service related to sales order processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and interact with both existing and new customer accounts within the marketplace.
• Conduct market research and gather intelligence to generate, promote, and convert opportunities.
• Coordinate with marketing efforts to maximize market presence.
• Assist in producing technical quotations for supply proposals.
• Visit customers regularly to assess requirements and identify opportunities.

Person Profile:

• Technically and commercially savvy within a sub-contract engineering environment.
• Experience in Sub-contract Laser Cutting, CNC Forming/Bending, Welding, and Fabrication.
• Proven track record servicing industrial environments such as automation, energy, automotive, rail, defense, construction.
• Excellent communication skills to maintain and build relationships.
• Ability to initiate contact and generate technical enquiries, following through to execution.

The role is suitable for individuals currently working as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Executive, Sales Rep, or Field Sales Manager, living within or willing to relocate to areas near Bristol, Swindon, Stroud, Devizes, Trowbridge, Avon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucester.
