Description
The Role

Reporting to the Client Account Management Leader, and working as part of an established team of Account Managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with accountability for retention and account development. You will manage and develop existing client relationships and grow the portfolio, providing the appropriate advice and subject matter expertise required to deliver a class-leading service and ensure that we have the right insurances in place to fulfil our clients’ demands and needs.

  • Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Develop a strong relationship with your clients, understanding their insurance needs and ensuring that these are fulfilled.
  • Handle day-to-day client service, answering queries received directly from clients, and providing cover advice on scenarios across the entire insurance portfolio.
  • Arrange additions or deletions of cover as required by clients.
  • Prepare London market broking documentation, including insurance market presentations, using Willis systems and documentation.
  • Negotiate favourable terms with insurers, either independently or with an Account Executive.
  • Ensure client retention targets are met; fulfill cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  • Encourage new business referrals and recommendations from existing clients.
  • Operate within the business procedures and requirements at all times.
  • Apply FCA operating principles and work in accordance with Treating Customers Fairly.
  • Manage and control workflows, working with the team to keep these up to date.
  • Collaborate with our Mumbai and A&S teams to ensure timely service delivery and account settlements.
Qualifications
The Requirements
  • Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Private Client sector.
  • Experience in preparing and using MRCs is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong personal management skills with a proven track record of managing workloads and delivering excellent client service.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to accuracy, quality, and detail.
