Job Overview

The Technical Support Engineer provides support to all users by investigating and resolving End User Computing hardware, application, and software issues, from level 1 to level 3. Reporting to the IT Technical Support Manager, this role involves delivering IT technical support for end-user compute and related processes within Multiplex IT. The position is customer-facing, primarily supporting construction sites within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports project delivery and site setups
  • Collaborates globally with functional and cross-functional teams
  • Performs server maintenance, administration, and basic networking
  • Resolves user account issues, including passwords and access
  • Records, prioritizes, and tracks service calls in the global system
  • Ensures timely resolution of tickets to meet SLAs
  • Diagnoses incidents/problems and participates in problem-solving groups
  • Documents and resolves incidents within ServiceNOW
  • Recommends system modifications and continuous improvements
Qualifications for Success
  • Experience in IT support, preferably in End User Computing roles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for supporting technical and non-technical users
  • Strong communication skills, with attention to detail
  • Expertise in Windows and Apple OS (Windows 10/11; macOS)
  • Knowledge of desktop, laptop, mobile devices, and vendor products
  • Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and configuring networked printers
  • Proficiency in standard business software such as Microsoft Office
  • IT experience with Active Directory, Azure, Intune, MDM, Networking (Cisco Meraki), and Windows Server
