Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized HR Generalist to oversee the onboarding process and support Senior HR Business Partners with HRIS updates, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management. The role ensures a seamless onboarding experience from offer signing to Day 1, managing Workday updates, visa processing, HR documentation, and general HR tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, experience with HR systems (preferably Workday), and the ability to handle multiple HR processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary Focus: Onboarding Process Ownership
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, managing all requirements before Day 1.
  • Manage background checks, visa applications, and compliance documentation.
  • Create and maintain accurate new hire profiles in Workday.
  • Coordinate with IT, facilities, payroll, and business units to prepare for new hires’ first day.
Day 1 Experience & New Hire Support
  • Welcome new employees and ensure smooth onboarding on their first day.
  • Assist with HR induction sessions and verify system access and equipment readiness.
Secondary Focus:
HRIS & Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Manage updates in Workday for existing employees.
  • Oversee offboarding processes and conduct HR data audits.
Visa & Compliance Management
  • Handle visa applications, renewals, and right-to-work verifications.
Coordination & Support
  • Collaborate with HR disciplines like Communication, Marketing, and Learning & Culture.
  • Support interns and temporary staff with HR queries and documentation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR documentation, policies, and GDPR compliance.
  • Support HR projects, employee engagement, and process improvements.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven HR administration experience, especially onboarding and HR process management.
  • Experience with HR systems (Workday preferred) and HR data integrity.
  • Knowledge of UK employment law, visa, and right-to-work procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive employee data.
