Job Opening: HR Associate for APAC Region

We are seeking recent graduates to join our global team of HR Generalists, with positions available in each major region worldwide. Ideal candidates are expected to graduate within the next year or have graduated in the last six months, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement and leadership qualities. Candidates should have a proven track record of over-achievement and a strong desire to develop HR practices on a global scale.

Our team operates in over 70 countries. The HR department focuses on policy accuracy, compliance, and People partnering to deliver efficient, friendly, and quality-driven services. The Associate HR Generalist will support HR activities in the APAC region, supporting our HR processes and contributing to our global HR initiatives. This role offers a valuable opportunity to start and advance a career in HR.

The successful candidate will possess an excellent academic record and some experience in an entry-level HR or People Team role, with knowledge of employment law. An interest in the Technology sector, especially Open Source, is preferred.

Location:

This role is remote and based in the APAC region.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide HR support by addressing team members’ inquiries regarding employment, contracts, onboarding, benefits, and other HR-related requests.
  2. Maintain HRIS data accuracy and timeliness for all employee changes and new hires.
  3. Lead global projects related to engagement, training, or culture initiatives.
  4. Partner with managers and employees to support HR processes and implement people strategies.
  5. Collaborate globally with colleagues, including leaders and executives.
  6. Process new hires and onboarding documentation, systems setup, and introductory reviews.
  7. Support benefits enrollment and payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate data submission.
  8. Coordinate with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments.
  9. Support administrative tasks related to benefits enrollment.
  10. Regularly audit employment files and systems for accuracy and GDPR compliance.
  11. Identify process improvement areas to enhance HR functions.
  12. Manage global background checks.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional academic record from high school and university preferred.
  • Entry-level HR experience, preferably in the Technology industry, is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and accurate.
  • High integrity and confidentiality handling skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proactive with ideas and initiative.
  • Aspiring to grow within HR.
  • Willing to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
