Engineering Coordinator
Claridges
We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Coordinator to join the Claridges team.
Located in London's Mayfair, Claridges is renowned for its blend of splendour and charm, with art deco interiors and modern touches. The hotel features the all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, along with two bars: Claridges Bar and the Fumoir.
As an Engineering Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to the Director of Technical Services and the Technical Services Manager to ensure smooth department operations, including managing PPM documentation and generating reports using Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
- Distributing maintenance jobs to shift engineers and technicians, and recording completion details to ensure timely completion.
- Filing, recording, and following up on contractors' job sheets.
- Taking minutes at H+S Committee meetings and following up as needed.
- Maintaining the office diary for major works, absences, and daily events.
- Updating and maintaining the department rota for approval by the Director of Technical Services.
Successful candidates will:
- Possess strong administrative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment and remain adaptable.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and be effective communicators.
- Ideally have experience in the hotel industry in an administrative or coordination role.
- Provide intuitive service, understanding guest needs to create memorable experiences.
- Show dedication to Claridges and a commitment to quality in service and product.
