Engineering Coordinator
Claridges
We are seeking an exceptional Engineering Coordinator to join the Claridges team.
At the centre of Londons Mayfair, Claridges is a unique combination of splendour and charm, renowned for its impeccable, intuitive service. The hotels original art deco interiors have been interwoven with modern flourishes. It also has a famous all-day dining restaurant, the Foyer & Reading Room, and two bars: Claridges Bar and the intimate Fumoir.
As an Engineering Coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Providing full administrative support to the Director of Technical Services and the Technical Services Manager for an efficient and smooth operation of the department, including filing PPM Documentation and providing statistical information using Excel, Word or PowerPoint.
- Ensure that Maintenance jobs are distributed to shift engineers and maintenance technicians recording details showing that jobs are completed in a timely manner.
- File, Record and follow up on Contractors Job Sheets deposited in office.
- Minute Taking on H+S Committee meetings and follow up as required by the Director of Technical Services and the Technical Services Manager.
- Maintain the office diary, recording major works, absentees and day to day events.
- Update/maintain the department rota prior to sign off by Director of Technical Services and the weekly.
Successful candidates for our Engineering Coordinator opportunity will:
- Have strong administrative skills, with ability to work in a busy environment, and be adaptable and flexible at all times
- Demonstrate high level of organisational and prioritising skills and effective communicator.
- Ideally will have worked within the hotel industry in an administrative or coordinator role.
- Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories.
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
