We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Human Resources Manager to join The Berkeley & The Emory team.

The Assistant Human Resources Manager plays a key role in supporting the efficient performance of the HR Department through professional planning, management, and administration of HR activities aligned with The Berkeley & The Emory's strategy and vision.

As an Assistant Human Resources Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing effective HR advice and guidance across all departments, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, payroll, and rewards.
  2. Leading and developing a strong team culture that supports high guest service standards, effective communication, and knowledge sharing.
  3. Staying updated on best practices in reward and recognition, and proposing initiatives to enhance employee propositions.
  4. Supporting succession planning initiatives to retain talent within the organization.
  5. Assisting in training and development initiatives alongside the Learning and Development Manager.
  6. Contributing to the strategic direction of HR in collaboration with the Group HR team, aligned with our vision and values.
  7. Promoting The Berkeley, The Emory, and Maybourne externally, maintaining networks, and staying informed on HR best practices.

Successful candidates will:

  • Have experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Possess recruitment and UK employment law knowledge.
  • Have strong IT and administrative skills.
