Job Description:

As a Finance Assistant, you will support all aspects of corporate finance, including cash reporting, month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax payments. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Reconciling bank accounts and preparing supporting documentation for balance sheet reviews
  2. Preparing and posting journals for recurring and ad hoc entries
  3. Reviewing credit card statements and obtaining receipts for transactions
  4. Managing direct debit processes, including obtaining invoices, coding, and posting to the general ledger
  5. Submitting requests for statutory and ad hoc payments (e.g., PAYE, corporation tax)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Finance and accounting degree or relevant qualification
  • Experience with accounting systems is advantageous
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Team player willing to support wider team roles
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid academic background

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently
