As an HR Advisor, you’ll be part of a team that’s doing incredible things – for ourselves, for the built environment around us, and for a truly sustainable future.

Your new role

  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices and ensure compliance, providing professional advice and guidance.
  • Lead case management across your business areas, handling complex attendance issues, performance management, grievances, restructures, redundancies, and reevaluation of posts, in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance in case management, highlighting trends for wider HR learning.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and update Employee Handbooks as appropriate, ensuring policies are current on all relevant drives.
  • Produce regular HR reports on topics such as employee engagement, sickness absence, turnover, analyzing trends, and highlighting opportunities for improvement to the HR Manager, SLT, and Heads of Business.
  • Monitor employment practice and law trends to advise on proactive actions.
What you'll need:
  • HR Degree or equivalent
  • Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
  • Commercial awareness
  • Commitment to CPD
  • Focused and highly motivated
  • Planning, prioritizing, and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience handling demanding ER caseloads
  • Confidence in analyzing data and interpreting trends
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure
  • Knowledge of various sectors of the Group and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and manage priorities, maintaining communication channels with the wider team
  • Focus on continuous improvement
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
