Are you passionate about making a difference to young people's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to support pupils and help ensure every child's success at our academy. We value diversity, promote collaboration, and celebrate excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the supervision of teaching staff.
2. Supervise and support pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and participation in learning activities.
3. Encourage pupils to interact and engage in activities led by the teacher.
4. Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive environment in line with lesson plans and assist with displaying pupils’ work.
5. Monitor and record pupils’ responses to learning activities, tracking their progress and achievements as directed.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Relevant experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
2. Experience working with children with diverse educational needs.
3. Ability to model acceptable behaviors and promote social skills.
4. GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent.
5. TA1 qualification or relevant experience.
