Main Responsibilities

1. Lead your team to ensure your branch operates efficiently, safely, legally, and provides excellent customer service.
2. Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
3. Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and set challenging targets to minimize payroll costs.
4. Understand the local market to offer the best service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Manage your team effectively to meet all customer service requirements, engaging with customers and using feedback for service improvement.
6. Collaborate with the regional team to identify opportunities and develop or improve ways of working.

You will need

• Previous experience and knowledge of deliveries and transport are essential.
• Management CPC qualification.
• Experience managing a warehouse operation.
• Ability to engage with customers and build strong relationships.
• Skills in developing new ideas and challenging a team to improve delivery service.
• Ability to identify talent and encourage team development.
• Motivational skills to foster a strong customer service culture.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
