Do your bit by joining us as a Senior Project Manager at The West Hub in Glasgow.
Your mission is to ensure our Capital Investment (CI) projects in the West of Scotland are delivered safely on time and within budget. You'll be leading a team in a journey to bring a diverse range of projects to life, working closely with our supply chain partners.

You will lead a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, guiding them through delivering various projects and programs, fostering trust and teamwork among colleagues and stakeholders.
You’ll be leading the charge in achieving Scottish Water's Strategic Ambitions along with building crucial relationships with key internal and external partners.
You will handle papers, approvals, project progress, and monitor monthly reports to ensure everything is on track, from costs to milestones.
Additionally, you will cultivate a project culture that hits business objectives and be responsible for safety and cost control.
You will also ensure compliance with governance, safety, quality, environmental regulations, and CDM Regulations.
You will drive and manage processes from planning to construction to commissioning, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and industry best practices are met.
Lastly, you will help improve our Project Management Processes and systems.
You're a people person with experience leading teams and developing colleagues. You set plans, milestones, and goals for delivery.
You are results-driven with a focus on budget and quality, and you welcome change, suggesting new policies and procedures for better results.
Good communication skills are essential, with the ability to influence colleagues and stakeholders.
You have experience in program delivery, leading teams, setting performance milestones, and knowledge in business change projects, construction health and safety, customer engagement, and financial management.
You’ll be based at the West Hub in Glasgow (Stepps), and need a valid UK driving license as some travel may be required.

This role is Grade 8, starting salary £48,900, progressing to £68,510 based on performance. In November 2024, we will move to a 35-hour workweek.
The role supports hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, with in-person leadership required on Wednesdays in Stepps.
