The Science Museum Group (SMG), as the world's leading group of science museums, is here to Inspire Futures. SMG's Finance department's priorities are to embed strategic thinking, planning, and financial analysis within the organisation's decision-making and to make the department a 'future ready' function.
We are looking for 2 x Management Reporting Analysts on a full-time basis to join a team responsible for financial data, management reporting, and analytics. The primary aim is to provide useful and accessible financial data for our business stakeholders across core operations and projects.
This role can be based at any of our museum sites in London, Manchester, Bradford, or York.
As a Management Reporting Analyst, you will work on initiatives that impact the business, focusing on improving accessibility of financial information, developing predictive forecasting, and utilizing datasets on visitors, retail, and workforce. You will handle key management reporting, work with data in our finance system, and identify, prioritize, and work on change and improvement projects.
You should have experience using financial data to prepare reports for boards or committees, with the ability to understand and assess financial information. An interest in and understanding of technology to improve processes is essential, along with experience in projects like systems implementation. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills are also required.
