Overview of the role

This role is critical to the success and growth of our private healthcare services, focusing on our Weight Management offering. The purpose is to lead and scale a high-performing clinic operation that delivers safe, compliant, and clinically effective care while driving commercial success. The vision is to establish Well as a trusted provider of private healthcare, with Weight Management as a flagship service. This role combines clinical oversight, operational leadership, and commercial thinking to foster sustainable growth in a competitive and evolving market.

This is a hybrid working role requiring 3 days in the office or across sites.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Clinic & Workforce Management
    Oversee pharmacist and clinic scheduling, ensure coverage for annual leave, lead training for new staff, and maximize service availability.
  2. Revenue & Growth Delivery
    Develop strategies to increase revenue, improve patient retention, and explore cross-sell and partnership opportunities.
  3. Market & Competitor Insight
    Conduct market research and competitor analysis, monitor pricing to stay competitive.
  4. Marketing & Engagement
    Collaborate with marketing to engage patients, acquire new ones, and implement re-engagement strategies.
  5. Clinic Operations & Patient Experience
    Support remote teams, optimize scheduling, manage patient flow, and resolve issues proactively.
  6. Technology & Data Utilisation
    Lead the implementation of CRM platforms and digital tools to generate insights and improve processes.
  7. Compliance & Clinical Governance
    Ensure regulatory compliance, uphold patient safety, and conduct audits.
  8. Financial Oversight & Supply Chain
    Track performance metrics, manage costs, and coordinate with pharmacy and customer service teams.
  9. Supplier & Service Development
    Build relationships with suppliers like Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk, explore service enhancements.
