Supply Chain Pharmacist

About the role:

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Regional Dispensing Hub in Basingstoke. As our Supply Chain Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in our new project, which aims to enable growth through central fill innovation. You will use your knowledge and experience to lead the day-to-day clinical operations.

Your main areas of responsibility will be:

  1. Deliver day-to-day clinical operations and services to our stores.
  2. Lead a safety-first culture to ensure patient safety and health and safety standards.
  3. Show initiative and drive continuous improvement by establishing new procedures and evolving operations for our pharmacy stores.
  4. Lead the clinical aspects of the production shift, supporting site colleagues to complete tasks accurately and within timeframes.
  5. Supervise and train colleagues.
  6. Work flexibly as part of the RDH leadership team to support end-to-end performance.

What you’ll need to have:

  • GPhC Registered practicing pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience within community pharmacy.
  • Ability to work at pace in a high-volume environment.
  • Good technical and IT skills.
  • A background in distribution and supply chain management, preferably in pharmacy logistics.
  • Ability to adapt to a continuously evolving role as we shape future innovations.
  • Motivated to deliver continuous improvements and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
