This role is fully remote and part-time, offering flexible hours on Tuesday - Friday 18:30 - 20:00, and Saturday 09:00 - 17:00.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist seeking additional hours to supplement their current role. The successful applicant will join a forward-thinking practice supported by a high-functioning team, including prescribing pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and administrative staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support medicines-related activities such as medication reviews, QOF work, medicines optimisation, CQC audits, and Eclipse.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including PCN Managers, Clinical Directors, and GP partners.
  • Participate in clinical audits, service redesign, and training activities.
  • Engage in patient-facing clinical services, including medication management for chronic diseases and high-risk patients.
  • Support safe prescribing practices, manage medication queries, and promote medicines safety and optimisation.
  • Contribute to green initiatives like inhaler recycling and sustainable practices.
  • Assist with extended hours and other practice-specific services.

Person Specification
Qualifications (Essential)
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council
  • Pharmacist independent prescriber
Experience (Essential)
  • Primary care pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of medicines schemes such as MOF and Eclipse
Skills (Essential)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems like Accurx and Microsoft Office
