We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as Associate, Procurement.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives within assigned categories to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, manage the contract database and pipeline, and ensure the procurement of high-quality goods and services. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet business objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with preferable knowledge in digital and technology procurement. You should have an in-depth understanding of procurement processes and industry standards within assigned categories. Ideally, you will be qualified to MCIPS or an equivalent qualification.
The right candidate will possess strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. You should have proven ability to learn multiple systems and analyze data from various sources. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience in contract database and pipeline management.
This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week, based primarily at our Chapel Street Office in Liverpool City Centre.
