  2. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
  3. Contract Database and Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage the contract database and pipeline to ensure all contracts are accurately recorded, easily accessible, up-to-date, and that renewals, renegotiations, and compliance are managed effectively.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within assigned categories.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities support business objectives.
  6. Cost Management: Drive cost savings initiatives and manage category budgets effectively.
  7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities and supplier relationships.
  8. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure optimal performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management—preferably with knowledge in digital and technology procurement. You should have an in-depth understanding of procurement processes and industry standards within assigned categories. Ideally, you will be qualified to MCIPS or an equivalent qualification.

The right candidate will possess strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Proven ability to learn multiple systems and analyze data from various sources is essential. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also required, along with experience in contract database and pipeline management.

Why should you apply?

This is a full-time, permanent role working 35 hours per week. Your main base will be our Chapel Street Office in Liverpool City Centre.

We offer a competitive salary, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays and the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days), and a contributory pension scheme.

You will have access to our benefits kit bag, which includes high street discounts and other benefit schemes. There are also opportunities to participate in volunteering through our LFC Foundation to give back to the community.
