The NHS is seeking an enthusiastic individual for an administrative role within the Radiology Directorate at the University Hospital of Wales. The position involves providing clerical support and requires flexibility to cover various shifts. The Radiology Directorate within Cardiff and Vale UHB is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join their Administrative and Clerical team.
The post holder will undertake administrative and clerical duties within the Radiology Directorate to provide an efficient service to the Directorate and the University Health Board.
The role requires flexibility as our service operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, including Bank Holidays. The post involves covering rotational roles within Radiology and Emergency Radiology.
Applicants should have a good standard of general education and experience in dealing with the public face-to-face and via telephone.
The position is based at the University Hospital of Wales, with potential coverage at other hospitals within Cardiff and Vale UHB to ensure continuous patient service delivery.
Welsh language skills are desirable; applications from Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.

Qualifications (Essential): GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent, or relevant experience.
Experience (Essential): Experience in an administrative or office environment using IT tools like Microsoft Office; experience in face-to-face customer service at reception.
Personal qualities (Essential): Flexibility, courtesy, friendliness, ability to work under pressure, independent or team work, multitasking, effective communication, confidentiality handling.
Knowledge (Essential): Awareness of GDPR/Data Protection.
Skills (Essential): High standards of organizational and administrative skills, professionalism in dealing with patients and staff.
